A lot of the hair products that the abstracted soft sculptures depict come from formally black owned companies or where never black owned. ⁠The amount of products that take up space in black homes. Often products that don't work with their hair, aren't black owned, or aren't deemed safe by any bureau fill the corners of black homes.
